Jack and the bean stalk: Marketing is all about making an impact over the customers. Talking about the story, Jack and the beanstalk, the strange man that Jack met must have used some real impressive words to get a cow in exchange for some beans. Here he used the word “magical beans” to make an impact over the kid. In the marketing world, the magical words are: Free, Guarantee, Special Discount, Offer etc. Jack, the customer did get what he was being promised, the beans did turn out to be magical. When you promise a customer something free or some offer with your product, make sure you fulfill it. False promises may prove to be fatal in the business world. So thanks to Jack and the magic beans we got our first tip: “Choose words wisely and deliver the valid product”.

Hansel and Gretel: The witch in Hansel and Gretel is one good sales woman. Her house was build with cakes and chocolates, that’s an irresistible offer. Marketing is all about luring the customers. The witch knew who her customers were and she knew what they’ll be attracted to. It is hence very important to know your customers, their tastes and their preferences. Before you start your marketing campaign make sure you’ve done enough market study so that you’ll know how to present your product. The second tip we get from the old witch is: “Make you offer irresistible”.

The Hare and the Tortoise: “Slow and steady wins the race”, that’s what the story teaches us and that is our next tip. Marketing is all about being patient and steady. You cannot expect the results overnight, that’ll be hard keeping in mind the competitions around. Coca-cola, one of the largest multi national company, everyone knows about its existence, but they still spend millions on advertising campaigns. This is an inspiring example of being steady.

The Ugly Duckling: Hans Christian Andersen knew very well how it is to be odd one out. When you are one of a kind there are two things that might happen, either you’ll stand out, or you’ll be left out. It is in your hands to let your product stand out or be lost in the crowd. So my next tip for you will be “find the right audience” you’ll sell more.

What is web marketing??

Web Marketing a vast topic to be discussed. Most people have very less idea about web marketing. They think it is limited to online shopping using credit cards. It is not a rocket science but the technique to get to the top is kind of tricky. Web Marketing is pretty similar to the real business marketing, you have to tell people that you exist. The best way to do that is letting the search engines know about your existence. Submit your websites to top search engines. Get the word out. If you are thinking of having a website for your company, without marketing, it’ll reach nowhere. It might be just another website in the web world. Don’t let that happen. Feel free to mail me: sales@avenuesusa.biz to get tips about how to start a website for your company or simply visit www.avenuesusa.biz, and get your website designed by professionals.

When you’re done submitting your website/s to search engines, your next job might be to announce others about your product. The best way to do this is Press release. Press Release is yet another tricky job. Here you want to inform others about your product but not advertise it. If you’re making a controversial statement, got some offers or events or you’ve something to announce then Press Release is the thing for you. PR is used to remind people that you exist.

The next big step for you would be the oldest form of advertising, “Classifieds”, yes they are still in and the first thing most people go through to search what they are looking for. In web world classifieds are really “THE THING” for advertising. There are many free classifieds where you can submit your ad. Keep in mind that your headline is really catchy. The reader should get the idea what you are selling. Even pictures can do this job pretty well. But when I say pictures, make sure it conveys your message. A picture of a beautiful flower won’t say much about your product. Instead you can add a phrase or sentence or even few words will work well.
